Man I'm not a person that has many favorites. But Jay Dee was my favorite producer. We're on our way back from Fairfield College tonight on I-95 and Core gets a call. It's Tranquil. He says that Jay Dilla has passed. Tah Phrum Da Bush is driving. I'm asking where is he getting this info. We don't wanna believe it. Soon after another call comes in, this time it's Creature with the same news. But even in the midst of this I'm still ever so inspired. I'm working on an album called Throw Away beats currently. I plan on dedicating it to memory of this great creation called Dilla.
